My Story

My relationship with skincare started long before I ever thought I’d become an esthetician.

In high school, I struggled with breakouts and hyperpigmentation, and I was incredibly self-conscious about my skin. I remember waking up at 5 a.m. just to give myself enough time to cover everything with makeup before school. I thought if I could just hide it well enough, maybe no one would notice.

At the time, I had no idea that esthetics would eventually become my path. I originally set out to become a lash technician, but somewhere along the way I ended up in a facial specialist program. And honestly, it just clicked. I learned about skin, treatments and the different factors that can affect it and suddenly I found myself thinking about all the years I had spent struggling with my own skin.

I knew I wanted to help people who felt the way I had felt.

Today, I’m a licensed esthetician, Face Reality Acne Specialist and holistic esthetician. My approach has grown into something much bigger than simply treating a breakout or making the skin look good for a few days. I believe in looking at the skin as a whole, supporting the skin barrier and working with the skin rather than constantly forcing it into submission.

I also believe in being ethical with homecare. I’m never going to recommend a product just to sell you something. If I suggest homecare, it’s because I genuinely believe it has a purpose in your routine and will help support the work we’re doing together in the treatment room.

I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and only see the things you wish you could change. That’s a big part of why I do what I do. I want my clients to leave not only with healthier skin, but with a better understanding of it and a little more confidence in what they see in the mirror.

    I brought Korean skincare into my lineup because I love the way it approaches skin health. Korean skincare has brought some really exciting advancements in barrier care and focuses on supporting the skin rather than constantly pushing it to do more.

    For my acne clients especially, I love having options that help hydrate, strengthen and support the skin while we work on their concerns. Corrective skincare isn’t always about being more aggressive. Sometimes the best thing we can do is give the skin what it needs to function better.
