Mental Health& Acne

Acne is Not your fault!

What does Mental Health have to do with Acne?

  • Trauma
  • Insecurity
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Suicidal Idetion
  • Loneliness
  • Bullying
  • Poor self image

There is huge correlation between women who experience suicidal thoughts and women who have acne. Acne plays a huge role in our mental health. It causes people to isolate themselves, feel like they can’t go out because it's all that people around them will notice. People around may start to give their unsolicited advice making it seem like you are the problem. All of these things definitely play a role in your mental health.

Stress relief can come in many different forms- do what works. Meditation, Crystals, Self-care rituals, Getting treatments, etc..

Regular low impact workouts that do not cause undue stress on the body, raise metabolism or require taking protein supplements or pre workout supplements are healthy.

Saying kind words to ourselves goes along way- create intentions for yourself to say when performing skincare routine.
